A rare magnolia with huge oval leaves to 30cm long. In late summer, large cup-shaped, creamy-yellow flowers are produced. In poor soil it may only grow to 3M or so, but in rich soil it should reach 10M. Spectacular when in full flower.

An unusual form of the evergreen magnolia. This variety tends to be more of a shrub rather than a tree. The glossy green leaves are narrower in shape. White perfumed flowers. Ideal screening shrub.
