An upright evergreen tree, growing 3-6M. White bell-shaped flowers and orange fruit in autumn. Beautiful smooth reddish bark.

Arbutus unedo

"IRISH STRWABERRY TREE"
An evergreen small tree. Produces clusters of white bell-shaped flowers in autumn. At the same time clusters of large, bright orange-red strawberry-like fruit are produced. Good for trimming into a topiary standard.

A small tree producing deep pink to red, bell-shaped flowers and bright orange fruit in autumn. Attractive dark green leaves and cinnamon-coloured trunk.

A small shrub with golden foliage turning a vibrant orange colour in winter. Ideal for rockeries or grown as a border.

Camellia japonica

Camellia japonica varieties flower from late winter into spring. There are many varieties to choose from in colours of reds, pinks, whites and creams. All do best in the morning sun, but can be grown successfully in warmer positions if kept well mulched and well watered.

Camellia sasanqua

Camellia sasanqua flower from late autumn through to winter. They generally have a more open habit than the Camellia japonicas, making them ideal for espalier. they will also tolerate more sun.

Coleonema pulchrum 'Aureum'

"Golden Diosma"
A very popular small shrub with bright yellow foliage throughout the year. It must be grwon in a sunny position to maintain this colour. Produces small pink flowers in spring. Best when trimmed regularly.

Illicium floridanum 'Album'

A medium sized evergreen shrub with deep green, oval leaves. The leaves have an aromatic fragrance. In spring masses of creamy-white, spidery flowers are produced. Prefers a morning sun position.

Nandina domestica 'Nana'

A popular small shrub, growing to less than 1M. The light green leaves turn a brilliant red colour in winter. the colder the climate, the bright the red. Combines well with dwarf conifers or Golden Diosma.

Rhododendron (Dwarf)

Dwarf rhododenrons come in various colours. Beside the normal pinks, reds and whites, there are yellow, orange and blue flowering ones. Some look more like azaleas than rhododendrons. All prefer a morning sun position.

Rhododendron

Rhododendrons prefer cooler climates. They blend well with Azaleas, Camellias and Pieris. Predominent colours are red, pink, mauve, purple and white. There are also some nice creams and yellows.

Sarococca confusa

A small shrub with glossy dark green leaves. Produces masses of tiny white flowers in late winter. These flowers have the most amazing perfume. Black berries are produced in autumn. An excellent plant for creating an informal border. Will grow in sun or shade.

Scleranthus biflorus

A beautiful mossy ground cover for a sunny position. Forms a big green, velvety cushion. A must in every rockery.

Tibochina grandiflora

Also known as Lasiandra grandiflora.
A beautiful shrub, continuously producing large purple flowers in late summer and autumn. Attractive large dark green leaves. Will grow in a shady or filtered sun position.
