Probably the best blue pencil-shaped conifer available. Grows to approx 2-3M by 30cm in the first 10 years. Best grown in an open position.

An upright growing conifer, reaching approx 2M in 10 years. The thin, grey-blue foliage takes on a purple tinge in winter.

Juniperus virginiana 'Spartan'

Also known as Juniperus chinensis 'Spartan'. Could be described as a shorter, fatter Pencil Pine. Grows to approx 6M x 70cm-1M. Beautiful emerald green foliage. Will grow in sun or shade. Trims well, used for topiary.
