Known as the "Pacific Dogwood", it is native to the west coast of North America.
The white flowers are very large compared to other Dogwood.
The dark green leaves turn good autumns.
May produce large red strawberry-like fruit after flowering.
Performs best in very well drained soil and protected from hot winds.
In its native habitat, it can be a tall tree, but in cultivation usually about 5 metres in height.
