Known as the "Dove Tree" or "Handkerchief Tree"
The name relates to the large white papery bract that are produced in late spring.
It forms an upright deciduous tree, capable gof reaching more that 5 metres.
It prefers good friable soil with adequate moisture during the summer.
It may take more than five years to produce flowers.
