'Jelena' is a hybrid cross from the Japanese and Chinese witch hazels.
It is stunning in winter when covered with masses of spidery deep orange flowers.
These flowers have a light, spicy-citrus fragrance.
It also produces colourful autumn foliage in red and yellow tones.
