As the name suggests, this cultivar of the "Weeping Japanese Maple" has a very pendulous habit.
The foliage is bright green in spring and summer.
The autumn colour is mainly yellow, but maybe suffused with crimson or orange.
This variety may hold onto its old leaves during winter.
